    Money for Small Business

    Photobucket

Going back to one of my previous posts, I wrote about how Obama had nothing in his stimulus plan for entrepreneurship and small business.  Well now he’s fixed that.  Today the president stated the U.S. Treasury will buy as much as $15 billion Small Business Administration loans.  This is all in hope that business will be able to get more capital to stimulate the economy.  Obama said “Too many entrepreneurs can’t access the business capital they need to start or grow their businesses.”  The policy hope to fix this and generate some jobs.  I must add one thing though, isn’t America’s source of the problem debt and now we will award more debt.  I admit to not knowing much about economics and the sort, but if places such as Silicon Valley can continue to produce excellent companies, then I am all for it.

    Obama bad for small business?

Despite all the talk for the need of tax breaks to help business thrive and hire in this down economy, Obama’s stimulus plan came with much disappointment.  The plan is to put money in the hands of consumers in hope that it will allow the trickle down effect to businesses.  Instead of creating tax deductions for entrepreneurs that many of small-business advocacy groups were hoping for, there is a fear that the deal will make situations worse for entrepreneurs.  The outcome? No incentive to create business.  As the plan was being delivered the stock market fell considerably…Hmm…

    Biden Guarentees Attack on Obama?

Recently Obama’s vice President running mate Joe Biden made a statement about what will happen if Obama gets elected. I’ll be frank, it doesn’t sound good. Biden warned of an international crisis. Biden went on to say that Obama will feel the pressure from other nations like JFK, talking about his inexperience. - “Mark my words, within the next first six months of this administration, if we win, they’re going to—we’re going to face a major international challenge, ‘cause they’re going to want to test him, just like they did John Kennedy…” Then he goes on to say “I could give you five or six scenarios”.

Also he did not say that we will face international crisis if McCain is elected, so we can assume Joe Biden says no international crisis if John McCain is elected.

Are you serious Biden?… Do I really want to give my vote to a rookie where there will be promise of attack from other nations? “I Guarantee international crisis…”

It was my initial understanding that the everybody will love Obama.  Apparently we were misinformed.

Biden goes on to say “Obama’s going to need help and the kind of help he’s gonna need is he’s gonna need you, not financially. We’re going to need you to use your influence, your influence, within the community to stand with him because it’s not going to be apparent initially, it’s not going to be apparent that we’re right in dealing with the international crisis.”

This just sounds too weird. Sorry Obama, your guy Biden drove the nail in for me on this one.
